Edna May Rosnow

A graveside service for Edna May Rosnow, 81, of Milaca, will be held today (Thursday, July 28, 2005) at 12:30 p.m. at Borgholm Cemetery near Bock with the Rev. Tom Sahlstrom officiating.

She died Monday, July 25, 2005 at Milaca Elim Home.

Arrangements are with the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home of Milaca.

Edna May Rosnow was born May 25, 1924 to Chester and Hulda (Schmidt) Kreger in Stewart, Minn. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Milaca where she attended Milaca Schools. She married Edwin Wilhelm Rosnow on Feb. 12, 1945 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Milaca and the couple had three daughters. They lived in the Milaca and Princeton area throughout their marriage. Edna worked for Fingerhut and as a custodian at the Princeton Schools. Edwin preceded her in death in 1985. She lived with her daughter for twelve years before moving to the Milaca Elim Home in 2001, where she lived until the time of her death. Edna enjoyed playing cards and bingo at Elim Home as well as birdwatching and being with family and friends.

Edna is survived by her daughters, Myrna Stob of Milaca, Ruth and husband Duane Mycue of Milaca and Lois and husband Duane Good of Ogilvie; six grandchildren, Martin and wife Tina Stob of Missouri, Duane Stob, Kim and husband Deon Willis, Chris and wife Kathy Mycue, all of Milaca, April Good of Pine City and Travis Good of Ogilvie; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Louraine Robertson of Wadena; brother, Raymond Kreger of Foley; three nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin and grandson, Thomas D.
