Mrs. Herman Krueger Dies at Her Home in Selah, Wash., August 15

The many local acquaintances and old friends of Mrs. Herman Krueger will regret to learn of her demise which occurred at her home at Selah, Washington, on August 15th.

We are informed that she had suffered a stroke of paralysis a week before her death. She had been in poor health, however, for a long period. Her demise closely followed that of her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Jahnke, who passed away July 5th of this year.

Mrs. Mary Krueger was a native of this state. Her birthplace was Wadenda, Minnesota. She was past 70 years of age. Her marriage to Herman Krueger took place in St. Paul. Shortly there-after in the year of 1885, they came to Winthrop where Mr. Krueger was engaged in the furniture business for many years.

For the past six years Mrs. Krueger had made her home in Selah, Washington. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was the mother of two children, both of whom are deceased. A Son Clifford died at a tender age and a daughter, Delphia, Mrs. Leonard Jahnke, passed away July 5th of this year. Her husband died in August 1925. She is mourned by her son-in-law Leonard Jahnke and granddaughter, Delpha.

Mrs. Krueger was regarded highly by a wide circle of Winthrop friends who will regret to learn of her unexpected demise.
